Undergraduate.
The Geosciences Department offers a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Sciences in Geosciences. Areas of specialization at the undergraduate level include Geology (labeled GEOL) and Geophysics (labeled G PH) and a minor in Atmospheric Sciences (labeled ATMO).

In collaboration with the College of Education, we also offer a program for teacher certification in Earth Science and Life Science at both elementary and secondary school levels.

Graduate.
The Geosciences Department offers a rigorous graduate program that leads to a Master of Science degree in both Geosciences and Atmospheric Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geosciences. MS degree candidates may specialize in areas within Geology, Geophysics, or Atmospheric Science. At the doctoral level, research emphasis may be placed in any of the sub-disciplines overseen by the students Graduate Committee.
